Itinerary
Your grand African safari tour begins at 7:30 AM with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. We journey south, stopping for breathtaking panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley, a dramatic geological marvel that stretches across the continent. Arrive at the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve in time for a delicious lunch.
Your adventure truly begins with an afternoon game drive. Feel the thrill as your guide expertly navigates the plains, introducing you to your first sightings of giraffes, zebras, elephants, and hopefully, the lions that command these lands.
- Accommodation: Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Today is dedicated to the magic of the Mara, a land of endless grasslands and astounding wildlife density. You have two fantastic options:
- Option 1 (Full-Day Exploration): After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch enjoyed under the shade of an acacia tree. This allows you to venture deeper into the reserve, seeking out the Big Five and perhaps witnessing the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration (seasonal, typically July to October.
- Option 2 (Early Morning & Afternoon Drives): Rise with the sun for a pre-breakfast game drive—the prime time when predators are most active. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and relaxation during the midday heat before setting out again for an afternoon adventure.
No matter your choice, the day is filled with opportunities to witness spectacular wildlife moments, from a cheetah surveying its territory to a pride of lions basking in the sun.

- Accommodation: Naivasha Country Club or similar.
Embrace a different kind of adventure this morning at Hell’s Gate National Park. Here, you can rent a bicycle and ride through a landscape of dramatic cliffs and geothermal steam vents that inspired scenes from "The Lion King."
