Itinerary
Leave Arusha in the morning for an afternoon game drive to Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight is at Lake Manyara twiga lodge located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment.
On the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views.
The famous tree-climbing lions are another reason to pay this park a visit. In addition, the national park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world.

Have a nice breakfast and then depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey’s discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back almost two million years ago.
After the whole tour, you will have your meals and overnight at Serengeti Shuhudia tented cam for mid-range Luxury safari accommodation or similar.

Spend the whole day in the Serengeti plains in search of wild game you might have missed the previous game drive.
You will go out for both morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight are at Serengeti shuhudia mid-range luxury tented camp.
Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park. It is also the largest at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. The Serengeti is also home to the Great migration.

After breakfast, a 4-wheel drive vehicle will take you 2000ft down to the crater. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater and ascend back to Ngorongoro wildlife lodge for dinner and overnight.
The Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africa’s Eden and the eighth Natural Wonder of the World. A visit to the crater is huge tourist attraction for Tanzania.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of the Ngorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and is thought to have been initially higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro.

On day 5 of the Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Beach Trip, we depart Lake Manyara for Arusha after breakfast, traveling via the Great Rift Valley and the rural village of Mto wa Mbu.
We arrive at the Arusha airport at about midday for your flight to Zanzibar, departing at 20:30. Arriving at Zanzibar International Airport at 22:30 you will be met by our guide and transferred to your beach resort on the east coast of Zanzibar.
You will have a choice of two 5 Star beach resorts on the east coast of Zanzibar Island.

Visit the spice plantations to smell, see and taste the brightly colored and aromatic spices, such as turmeric, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
You can take a boat ride to one of the smaller islands to relax and explore, or go scuba diving. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities due to the rich marine life found in these clear waters.
Again, you have a choice of luxury 5 Star accommodation at one of two Zanzibar resorts.
