This 12-day Kenya & Tanzania Migration Budget Camping Safari takes you through Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria, Lake Naivasha, Lake Manyara, and Amboseli. It focuses on witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration river crossing in Masai Mara and Serengeti between July and early October. The safari includes game drives, walking safaris, bird watching, camping accommodations, cross-border adventures, and cultural experiences. The tour starts in Nairobi and ends in Nairobi.

Itinerary
Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport Nairobi, You will be met and welcomed by our airport representative, followed by a short briefing about the trip just too double confirm the itinerary.
We will later follow by a transfer to the Hotel of your choice {recommended Meridian Hotel} awaiting for the next day trip departure (optional & not included in the cost).
You will be picked from your hotel by 07:30 hrs by your private driver tour guide and immediately depart for Lake Nakuru to arrive by mid-morning. Check-in at the guest house and have lunch, Later in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive up to late in the evening before exiting to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Have breakfast then head to Lake Bogoria carrying packed lunch with you. Have guided nature walks on the shores of the lake. Later have lunch then head to Lake Naivasha.

Have an early breakfast then depart for Maasai Mara to arrive for lunch at the camp. Have lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive from 3 o'clock till 6 p.m.
The best time to visit Kenya is during the Dry season from late June to October (these are the best wildlife viewing months).
Most importantly, the wildebeest migration usually reaches the Masai Mara in August and remains until October when they move back to the Serengeti in Tanzania.
Moreover, if your intention is to purely catch the great Wildebeest migration river crossing then; July to September is the perfect time for you to travel to Kenya.
The Wildebeest Migration river crossing is at its peak and because of this, you can never miss witnessing them crossing the river.
The rainy seasons are also good times to travel, as there are fewer visitors and you can admire the striking emerald vegetation.

Spend this whole day with a game drive in search of the big five and much other wildlife that inhabits these beautiful savannah plains. There will be a picnic lunch in the course of the day.

A day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5/ trailing the wildebeest migration Morning and afternoon game drives offered.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here.
You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures.

Have breakfast then enjoy a game drive till mid-morning when you depart for Serengeti passing through the Isebania border. Carry packed lunch with you from the lodge because you will arrive at the park past lunch hour.
Have a game drive as you enter the park and later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

This whole day, have breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive carrying parked lunch with you. Enjoy searching for wildlife in this vast savannah land. Picnic lunch will be served at lunchtime.
Other days you can decide to do an early morning game drive before breakfast. Thereafter, return to the camp for breakfast. Return to the camp and rest then you will have another one from 4 p.m till 6 p.m.

After breakfast, then have a final game drive. Carry packed lunch with you. Depart for Ngorongoro Crater to arrive with an en-route game drive to the camp.
The Ngorongoro is a huge caldera (collapsed volcano) that boasts an 18km diameter span with walls as high as 600 meters.
Home to the densest mammalian population in Africa, at around 25,000 large animals, this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The many diverse habitats found on the fertile crater floor attract a variety of wildlife including Africa's Big 5 as well as elephant, monkey, hyena, jackal, and herds of zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and other antelope species.
Offering first-class game viewing, Ngorongoro is considered one of the best places to photograph the endangered black rhino.

After breakfast, check out of the lodge with a packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game and the big five.
Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. Depart for Lake Manyara with a game drive as you leave the park to arrive in Lake Manyara by late evening.

After breakfast at the lodge departs with picnic lunch boxes to the Namanga border. Clear customs and immigration formalities then join our Kenya tour driver and proceed to Amboseli. You will have lunch en route.

Spend this with morning game drives after breakfast till lunchtime. Return to the camp/lodge for lunch at 1 p.m. Relax by the pool after lunch. The afternoon game drives till dusk.
This small park (at 392 sq km) is the second most popular park in Kenya after Maasai Mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary.
Amboseli means ‘the place of water’ in the Maasai language. The park has an endless supply of water filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro.
Animal species seen include elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, and leopard.
The birdlife seen here includes pelican, bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, and pygmy falcon.
Mount Kilimanjaro forms the backdrop of this game sanctuary and it is a sight to see and marvel at. The nomadic richly decorated Maasai who is deeply steeped in Maasai culture entertain visitors with enchanting dances of ageless Africa.
