3-Day Private Masai Mara Family Safari Tour,

You will depart from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, and be driven down the escarpment through the floor of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at the Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch.

After lunch, you will take your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara is East Africa's premier safari destination, boasting incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodlands that follow the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek Rivers in Kenya. 

One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is a typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. You will return to camp for dinner and relax under the stars, drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the bush.

After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive in search of Africa's "Big Five" and the wildlife that inhabits this vast Kenyan game reserve. 

The wildlife you will see includes giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and hippos. Lions are easily seen either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal.

For those with a keen eye, cheetahs and leopards are a thrilling challenge to spot. For a truly unique perspective, consider a hot-air balloon trip over the savannah plains, teeming with an abundance of wildlife. 

The ultimate spectacle is, without doubt, the annual wildebeest migration in July and August, when millions of the animals move north from the Serengeti in search of greener pastures before turning south again in October. Later in the evening, you will return to camp for dinner and spend the night.

This is our final day in the Masai Mara game reserve. You will rise early, have breakfast, check out, and depart camp.

Exiting the park, you will participate in your optional final morning game drive through the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. We only have two hours to leave on this day, and your guide, George, will ensure you exit before the time lapses.

You will then return to Nairobi, where a hot lunch will be served en route. You will arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon. This is where your safari concludes, with a drop-off at the airport or hotel.
