As the afternoon sun mellows, embark on your inaugural Masai Mara wildlife safari game drive. Today is dedicated to an extensive exploration of the Masai Mara. With a packed picnic lunch in hand, we'll traverse the vast plains, seeking out hidden wildlife gems. Our journey will take us to the iconic Mara River, a vital artery where hippos bask, crocodiles lie in wait, and numerous animals converge – especially during the annual Great Migration. Enjoy your lunch amidst this spectacular natural theatre, feeling the pulse of the wild around you. For an enriching cultural experience, you'll have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village, gaining insights into their timeless way of life and vibrant traditions. Return to Enkajiang Mara Tented Camp for another evening under the African stars.

After a final breakfast at your camp, and perhaps a last optional visit to a local village, we bid farewell to the Masai Mara. Our next destination is the shimmering expanse of Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route. If time permits, we’ll pass by Lake Naivasha, offering an optional boat ride and a gentle walking safari at Crescent Island – a unique opportunity to walk among giraffes and zebras. We arrive in the evening at Lake Nakuru Hillcourt Resort & Spa, a comfortable mid-range lodge just outside the park, where you’ll settle in for dinner and overnight.

Rise early for a final, exhilarating game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park. This remarkable park is a vital rhino sanctuary, home to over 40 black and 60 white rhinos – a truly special encounter. Lake Nakuru is also an avian spectacle, boasting over 350 recorded bird species, including the famous flamingos that often paint the lake's shores pink. Beyond the rhinos and birds, look for elusive leopards, graceful Rothschild's giraffes, majestic waterbucks, and a variety of plain antelopes. After a morning filled with incredible sightings, we’ll enjoy a final picnic lunch before beginning our scenic drive back to Nairobi.
