4-Days Luxury Masai Mara Road/Fly-in Safari Tour – Kenya

You will depart from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, by 6:00 am. Drive down the escarpment through the floor of the Great Rift Valley; arriving at the Mara Sarova Game Lodge in goodtime for early lunch with game drive en-route.

The luxury-tented camp is located in a natural setting where you stay in permanent tents with double beds and en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets, washbasins, and hot showers. 

These spacious tents are fitted with mosquito nets and have private verandas for relaxing in the bush.

After lunch, you will take your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Mara is East Africa's top safari destinations that includes incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodlands following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek Rivers, in Kenya. 

One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. You will return to camp for dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.

After breakfast, you will take off for a full day game drive in search of Africa's “Big Five” and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. 

Wildlife you will see include giraffe, baboon, warthog, bat-eared fox, grey jackal, spotted hyena, topi, impala, hartebeest, wildebeest, elephant, buffalo, zebra, and hippo. Lion has easily seen either basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal.

Cheetah and leopard are harder to spot but are reasonably common with a sharp eye. Hot-air balloon trips are a unique way to view the savannah plains teeming with wildlife and can be organized at an extra cost. 

The ultimate action is, without doubt, the annual wildebeest migration in July/August; when millions of the animals move north from the Serengeti in search of greener grass before turning south again in October. Later in the evening, you will return to camp for dinner, and your overnight stay.

You will rise early for a morning game drive when the wildlife are still active. Get back to the lodge for breakfast, and later exit to enjoy the rest of the day game viewing before getting back to the lodge for a hot Lunch.

Proceed to check out. You now bid Farewell to Masai Mara, as you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi [flying time approx. 1 hour].

Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll have our Driver-guide waiting for you at the Wilson Airport for onward transfer to your hotel or to the International airport.

This is where your safari will end with an airport drop-off.
