Itinerary
07:00 hrs. Your driver/guide {George} will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel after breakfast, thereafter followed by an easy scenic sightseeing drive via the Great Rift Valley escarpment with views of awesome scenery to Masaui Mara National Reserve.
There shall be stops to marvel at the dramatic fall of the Great Rift Valley escarpment (View Point). The drive then proceeds to the land of the Maasai tribe via Narok town (Largest Masai Town) to arrive at your Mara Serena Safari Lodge in good time for Lunch.
We have arrived at perhaps the most well-known wildlife park in the world, home to an incredible diversity and concentration of wild animals. All the Big Five are here with a special emphasis on the cats such as lion, leopard, and cheetah.
We will fill our day with game drives over the deep savannah looking for the big game plus warthog, hyena, zebra, and many more hunters and grazers till dusk and later drive back to Mara Serena Safari lodge for dinner & overnight stay.

Overnight at Mara Keekorok Lodge or similar
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes, and elephant.
While at the Mara River, you will get the opportunity to ditch the vehicle and experience a walking safari with an armed ranger.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture.
Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures.

This is our last day in Masai Mara National Reserve. Our day starts with an early morning, sunrise breakfast game viewing in the park to increase your chances to view the sunrise within the Mara and to view the lionesses and their cubs having breakfast as a family after a night hunting.
Return to the lodge for full breakfast and final preparation for Nakuru national park. Lunch will be served on route, to arrive at Lake Nakuru Sarova lion hill with a 4 to 5 hrs game viewing in Lake Nakuru national park as the lodge is right inside the park.
NB: Due to some progressive natural factors like increasing water levels, the flamingo numbers have been reducing but the park itself remains stunning – one of Kenya is finest. Great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees dot the lake.
The few quantity of flamingos accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is bountiful, busy and full of color.
But that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer because the wildlife viewing here is easy and accessible. The Lake Nakuru Park known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You are sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore.
The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino.

After your breakfast, you will have a morning game viewing session in lake Nakuru national park to view flamingoes that are famous in the park apart from black and white rhinos and other water birds like pelicans plains game like the cape buffalo giraffe and baboons set off for hell’s gate national park (Naivasha) after lunch.
The drive from Lake Nakuru to Naivasha park is shorter, approximately an hour’s drive.
Spend the better part of your afternoon enjoy the Sopa Lodge facilities or visit head out for a walk along the Lake spotting different birding species.
You will also have the opportunity to enjoy an optional boat ride in Lake Naivasha gliding passed the Hippos to the crescent island. Dinner & overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, head out for Hells gate National Reserve, the only reserve in Kenya where you can enjoy game viewing while on a Bicycle (cycling safaris), as well as walking safari experience in the park between the wildlife (grass-eating animals.
Other optional activities here includes; horseback ride if you are a fan; there are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, Augur Buzzard, and Swifts. African Buffalo, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also common.
The park is also home to Klipspringer Antelope and Chandler’s Mountain Reedbuck–enjoy hot or picnic lunches and later drive back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon with drop off back to Nairobi Hotel/Airport for your outbound flight.
