After a brief orientation to confirm your exciting itinerary, you will be chauffeured to the Hilton Garden Inn Airport Hotel for a restful overnight stay, allowing you to acclimate and anticipate the journey ahead.
- Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
- Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge
After a delicious breakfast, your personal Safari Guide will meet you at 08:00hrs. The adventure truly begins as we depart Nairobi and journey towards the Great Rift Valley, one of the most spectacular geological wonders on earth.
Prepare for a sensory feast as the landscape dramatically unfolds, offering breathtaking panoramic views from the escarpment—a perfect first photo opportunity.
En route, we'll make an optional stop at the shimmering freshwater Lake Naivasha for an enchanting boat safari. Glide past pods of grunting hippos and watch majestic fish eagles dive for their prey.
This is followed by an optional guided walking safari on Crescent Island, a unique chance to stroll amongst giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest in a predator-free sanctuary.
We then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, a stunning wildlife haven. While famous for the pink-hued flocks of flamingos that fringe its shores, the park is a vital conservation success story.
It serves as a crucial sanctuary for the endangered rhinoceros, boasting one of Kenya's largest populations of both black and white rhinos.
Your afternoon will be spent on an unforgettable game drive, spotting rare Rothschild’s giraffes, formidable buffalo, and perhaps even a elusive leopard resting in an acacia tree.
As dusk settles, you will retire to the exquisite Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, where stunning views and gourmet dining await.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Accommodation: Mara Emayian Luxury Tented Camp
Awake to the sounds of the bush and enjoy a final, short game drive through Lake Nakuru. After breakfast, we set our sights on the main event: the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.
The scenic drive itself is an experience, taking you deeper into Maasai land, with stops at picturesque viewpoints.
Upon arrival, the sheer vastness of the Mara's rolling grasslands will leave you speechless. This iconic ecosystem hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the world. After checking into the exclusive Mara Emayian Luxury Tented Camp—a haven of comfort and elegance—you will embark on your first exhilarating afternoon game drive in the Mara.
Your expert guide will read the signs of the wild, leading you in search of the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Accommodation: Mara Emayian Luxury Tented Camp
Today is a day of pure wildlife immersion. After an early breakfast, you will venture into the reserve for a full day of unlimited game viewing. The Masai Mara is a theater of the wild, offering unparalleled drama and beauty. Witness vast herds of elephants roaming the plains, cheetahs scanning the horizon from atop termite mounds, and prides of lions basking in the golden morning light.
We will enjoy a unique picnic lunch by the Mara River, a lifeline for the region's inhabitants. Watch for hippos and Nile crocodiles lurking in the waters.
If your visit falls between July and October, you may be fortunate enough to witness the awe-inspiring Great Wildebeest Migration, a natural spectacle of over two million animals on their epic journey.
As the sun sets, casting a magical glow over the savanna, we return to our luxury camp for a delectable dinner and a night spent listening to the distant roars and calls of the wild.
- Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch
Your final day offers a choice of two unforgettable experiences.
Option 1: A Hot Air Balloon Safari (Optional Extra): For a truly once-in-a-lifetime perspective, rise before dawn for a magical hot air balloon ride over the Mara plains. Floating silently as the sun rises, you'll gain a unique vantage point of the sprawling landscape and the animals below. The experience culminates in a celebratory champagne breakfast, served in the heart of the bush.
Option 2: Maasai Culture & Final Game Drive: For those not taking the balloon ride, enjoy a final early morning game drive. Afterwards, you have the option to visit a local Maasai village. This is an authentic opportunity to interact with the Maasai people, learn about their rich culture, ancient traditions, and see their way of life firsthand.
Following your morning adventure, we will begin our journey back to Nairobi, stopping for a hot lunch en route. You will arrive in the late afternoon (approximately 4:30 pm), filled with incredible memories. We will drop you off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
